Sometimes, with technicolor clarity, I remember that night you couldn't keep from seeing me. That we spent on the riverfront. With that bouquet of dandelions. Wearing my rainboots. Laying side by side in the dewy, muddy, quicksand grass; staring at the vast infiniteness leering over us. Stumbling to get up, because you were going to kiss me, and I couldn't let you.
Even though my bones were quaking with an undeniable, uncontainable desire to let you breathe me right in.

I’m not scared of much besides the dark and losing somebody close to me. I’d like to think that I’ll be able to accept every obstacle that does hide in my future, but why worry about it now?
